Mom
Victoria Sue Smith (nèe Brockman) was born on August 28th, 1946, and passed away on October 30th, 2024, in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Lockland, Ohio.
Victoria was a loving mother and a caregiver through and through. She chose to dedicate her life to raising her children over maintaining a career outside the home. She also was end of life caregiver to her mother, father, husband, and brother through their illness and eventual passing. When her grandchildren were born, she joyously took on her role as grandma and daily caregiver to them.
Victoria loved animals. She regularly donated to humane societies and animal welfare organizations, as well as St. Jude's children's hospital. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Mufasa. He was her constant companion, and she treated him like a child. He misses her very much. He has been adopted by Victoria's daughter. He will be cherished and forever cared for.
Victoria was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tammy Sue, as well as her brothers, Tom and John.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie Ann Howlett, Pamela Sue Olberding (Roch), Nichole Beth Ellington (Rhyan), her sisters, Marilyn Gail Keeler (Richard), and Sherry Dowers, her cherished grandchildren, Holly Geiser (Joe), Devin Butler (Miranda), Landree Ellington (Dylan), and Warner Ellington, her precious great-grandchildren, Gage Geiser, Lexi Geiser, Levi Butler, and Simon Butler. She was affectionately called mamaw by her grandchildren and grandma grape (great-grandma) by little Levi and Simon.
Victoria is deeply missed by her family, but those who knew her best are reeling from the sudden and unexpected absence of her in their life. She will live on in our hearts and memories. We will cherish every beautiful moment we shared with her. Mom, we love you, and we miss you 💕
