William Edward Brown

William Edward Brown was born January 23, 1937. He passed away on March 2, 2025, at Mason Assisted Living and Memory Care. He was the son of Lolis  and Clarice Brown. Ed was the loving husband to Emma Sue Brown for 64 years. He was the proud father to Richard “Rick” Brown, Linda Jane (Ron) Norton, and Robert “Bobby” (Lori) Brown. He was the brother to James “Clero” (Diane) Brown, Janette (Joe) Chapman and Glenna (Tom) Anania. He was also a loving grandfather to his four grandchildren: Josh Brown, Chad Brown, Natasha Norton, and Sammi (Jeff) Chrisman. Ed also had 8 great grandchildren: Austin Eveleth, Audrina Eveleth, Andrew Norton, Kayla Brown, Jade Brown, Isaiah Brown, Xavier Brown, and Jeffrey Chrisman. Ed was the brother-in-law and uncle to Debbie Ellis, Dave (Tina) Ellis, Kyle (Lindsay) Ellis, and Jenny(Josh) Kemplin. Ed had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who he cared about greatly.

Ed never met a stranger. He loved to talk to everyone. He was always doing or fixing something. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family and friends.

Ed was very proud of his service in The Army and work with the union.

Ed’s family would like to send a special thank you to everyone associated with his stay at the memory care unit. We appreciate all the extra care for Ed or as you called him “papaw.”
